Pau Torres targeted by Everton
Villarreal will reportedly demand a club-record fee for defender Pau Torres in January.
That's according to a report by 90min.com, who are reporting that Villarreal are ready to sell the defender and although they are unlikely to demand his full £55m release clause, they will still want upwards of their previous record sale of £40m.
The report goes on to claim that Everton have a long-standing interest in Torres, with Wolves, PSG and Inter Milan all named as possible destinations for the centre-back.

Ronald Koeman makes Memphis Depay admission
Ronald Koeman has revealed he changed his mind about Memphis Depay after holding talks with his fellow Dutchman about a potential move to Everton.
Koeman became Blues manager in 2016 and led the side to seventh in the Premier League after his first campaign. However, a poor beginning to the 2017/18 season meant that he was given his marching orders - with his final match being a humbling 5-2 home defeat to Arsenal in October 2017.

Frank Lampard believes Everton were always destined for a 'tough' season following last year's relegation battle and has offered an insight into how he plans to approach his side's upcoming Sydney Super Cup matches.
The Blues landed Down Under on Wednesday after the Premier League paused for the World Cup. Everton arrived in Australia one point above the drop zone.
As a result of last Saturday's defeat to Bournemouth, Everton have now lost five of their last seven top-flight games and were also dumped out of the Carabao Cup by the Cherries just days before last weekend’s game at the Vitality Stadium.

Everton linked with Loftus-Cheek
Everton are reportedly monitoring the progress of Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
That is according to Simon Phillips, who is reporting that the Chelsea midfielder is a target for the Blues and that they are ready to move in with a teasing bid in the January transfer window.
The report from Phillips goes on to claim that Loftus-Cheek's Chelsea future now looking a little more uncertain than before and the Stamford Bridge club are looking to make decision.
