Iran manager Carlos Queiroz slams line-up leak before 6-2 drubbing against England
Iran manager Carlos Queiroz has lashed out at a leak of his starting XI ahead their World Cup drubbing at the hands of England as part of a furious rant in Qatar
Carlos Queiroz has blamed a leak of his Iran starting XI as a reason for their dismal performance against England which ended 6-2 to Gareth Southgate's side.
The former Manchester United assistant watched his side conceded six goals, while grabbing two of their own, in a Group B opener that has given Iran a tough path to qualify.
While in preparation for their second group match against Wales on Friday morning (November 25), Queiroz has taken aim at Iranian sports news website Varsesh 3.

Varsesh 3 had published their predicted Iran team online before the fixture, leaving Queiroz seething after their drubbing thanks to the accurate forecast.
Queiroz said: "I cannot finish my statement without congratulating Varzesh 3. Congratulations.
"Because you did a good job putting our starting line-up in the press for the morning for the English team, congratulations. You did a good job.
Could Iran have beaten England if their team wasn't leaked? Tell us in the comments section below.
"It helped us know that inside the team we have people that are out (injured) for England.
"All other Iranian press, nobody did that. But you guys did that, congratulations.
"You are really a great hero, congratulations, good job."
England are big favourites to top Group B thanks to their victory as well as the 1-1 draw between the United States and Wales the same evening.
Another huge boost for the Three Lions comes with the news that Harry Kane is fit to captain the side despite being taken for a scan on his ankle in the week.
A win over the United States on Friday evening will see Southgate's men progress to the knockout stages with a game to spare before their clash against Wales on Tuesday (November 29).
