Juventus in chaos as every board member, including Pavel Nedved, resign at the same time
After postponing their scheduled shareholders' meeting last week, the entirety of Juventus' board have now stepped down from their roles including the president Andrea Agnelli
Juventus have been thrown into chaos after the club's entire board resigned at the same time.
Those to leave the club include president Andrea Agnelli and former midfielder turned vice-president Pavel Nedved have stepped down from their roles, according to Goal. The news comes after the Old Lady announced record losses of €254.3million (£220million) for the 2021/22 season and cancelled their shareholders' meeting last week.
The meeting had been rescheduled for the end of December with a statement reading: "Today, Juventus Football Club S.p.A. published pro-forma financial information to comply with Consob’s Resolution dated 19 October 2022 adopted pursuant to art. 154-ter, comma 7, of Legislative Decree No. 58/1998 (“TUF”).

"In order to ensure maximum transparency and adequate time for the shareholders to examine the aforementioned information, the Board of Directors of the Company, which met today, resolved to postpone the Shareholders’ Meeting, previously scheduled for 23 November 2022, to 27 December 2022."
The reports that the board had resigned continued to circulate in the Italian press before Juventus later confirmed the news in a press release.
In addition to Agnelli and Nedved, chairman Maurizio Arrivabene, Laurence Debroux, Massimo Della Ragione, Kathryn Fink, Daniela Marilungo, Francesco Roncaglio, Giorgio Tacchia and Suzanne Heywood have all left the board of directors.

Although Arrivabene has left the board, the club have confirmed he will stay on as chief executive whilst a new board is put together.
Their exits come after an investigation into the Juventus players and then manager Maurizio Sarri cutting their wages during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Authorities are believed to have found irregularities during their investigation and began to take a closer look, which has now prompted the resignations.
Agnelli has been president since 2010 and oversaw the club's dominance of Italian football across much of the last decade as they won nine consecutive league titles. He was also involved in the failed European Super League project last year.
As for Nedved, he spent the final eight years of his playing career in Turin, making 327 appearances and scoring a total of 65 goals for Juventus. He also won the Ballon d'Or and two league titles during his time with the club.
Juventus are currently third in Serie A after 15 matches this season but have already been knocked out of the Champions League and will face Nantes in February's Europa League play-off round.
