Spanish media renew Newcastle United links to Kang-In Lee

Newcastle United have once again been linked with South Korean star Kang-In Lee ahead of the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old, who plays for La Liga side Mallorca, had been linked with a move to Tyneside in the summer.

And now Spanish outlet Marca claim the Magpies are ready to renew their interest in the attacking midfielder, who has a release fee clause of £14m.

The Mallorca midfielder, who featured in all three of South Korea's World Cup games, has impressed this term in La Liga. Kang-In is positionally versatile and can play on either flank, or behind a central striker.

Magpies reportedly eyeing Ajax star Mohammed Kudus

Newcastle United are said to have enquired about the availability of Ajax's Mohammed Kudus. The Ghanaian star, who is enjoying an incredible breakout season, has impressed this term for the Dutch giants.

Having moved into a more attacking position at the start of the season, Kudus has bagged 10 goals in 21 appearances for Ajax.

According to 90min, Newcastle are just one of a host of Premier League sides to have enquired about the 22-year-old, who has scored two goals for Ghana at the World Cup.

Similar to Kang-In Lee, Kudus is also positionally versatile, able to play through the middle as a striker or as an attacking midfielder.
