Morgan Sanson has announced that he will be supporting underprivileged children at a school in Ivory Coast. The Aston Villa midfielder has often supported charitable causes and, over the next two to three years, he’ll help the Bénévolat International du Cotentin association build a new canteen or library at a school in the village of Adonkoi, home to 3,778 people in the south east of Ivory Coast.

In an announcement on his social media channels, Sanson said: “I want to inform you that I have become the sponsor of Benevolat International du Cotentin. It is an association which aims to help pupils of a primary school in a remote village in Ivory Coast.

“This is a project that will take place over two or three years. We aim to build a canteen or a library, to bring a maximum of school goods and materials to this school to meet their needs.
