Christopher Jullien still feels "goosebumps" watching his League Cup final winner against Rangers three years on.

The French defender left Celtic in the summer after falling out of favour under Ange Postecoglou, struggling to re-establish his place in the team after more than a year out with injury. He's now a regular in Ligue 1 with Montpellier, starting 10 of their 12 games since returning to his homeland.

But he's fondly remembered for his time at Parkhead as he made 47 appearances in his debut season in 2019/20, scoring an impressive seven goals as he carried an imperious set-piece threat. He famously headed in a Europa League winner against Lazio but his most famous goal by far came in the League Cup final against rivals Rangers, as he fired home from a Ryan Christie free-kick to win the trophy for Neil Lennon 's team.

Jullien and keeper Fraser Forster were heroes on the day as they teamed up to secure the first trophy in a season that eventually saw them clinch a fourth successive Treble. And it seems he's still living it up as he responded to a fan who shared the highlights on the third anniversary of his trophy-winning strike, saying simply: "Goosebumps."

Jullien left Celtic in the summer after failing to force his way into Postecoglou's plans but managed double figures for goals in his 62 appearances. The towering Frenchman's final goal for the club came in a 3-0 win over Motherwell, before picking up a severe injury against Dundee United that spelled the beginning of the end for his Parkhead career.
