Hibs star Ryan Porteous chased by Hull City as Championship club prepare bid to fend off transfer interest from rivals

HULL CITY are set to make an offer for Ryan Porteous next month.
The Tigers are just one of several Championship sides in the hunt for the Hibs defender.
Italian outfit Udinese also want Porteous, 23, with the Scotland star keen for a move away from the Premiership.
Hibs are still looking for a decent fee for the stopper, who can leave for nothing at the end of the season.
But they may have to compromise and Hull could make a low offer next month.
Porteous looks destined for England or abroad.

Speaking this week, he said: “I do like the idea of moving to a different league and testing myself there. “I’m open to ideas, now it’s trying to figure out the one that’s best suited for me.”
Porteous was praised after his standout performance against Rangers on Friday night.
Deployed in an unusual midfield role, the 23-year-old opened the scoring at Ibrox.
But even he himself admitted that a move to the Gers would 'not go down well'.

Asked specifically about the Rangers link, he said: "As I said I do really like the idea of moving to a different league and challenging myself.
"That [Rangers] wouldn't go down too well, so we will see."
He said: "It was obviously a very difficult one [decision to leave], something I didn't take lightly, I didn't make it fast.
"I maybe thought I wasn't developing as a player as fast as I was 18 months ago, two years ago.
"Hopefully it will develop me as a player faster and I can push for Scotland matches regularly and start them.
"I signed a five and a half year deal when I was 18.
"During that time there have been multiple offers which came into the club and I was more than happy to stay.
