Celtic B 5-2 Rangers B: Young Hoops thrash Lowland League rivals at Parkhead as Ange Postecoglou attends

CELTIC B thrashed Rangers B 5-2 in the youth Old Firm derby at Celtic Park on the eve of the big one at Ibrox on Monday.
The Lowland League rivals played out a thriller in the east end of Glasgow.
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou was in attendance, as was Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson.
Before the game, a minute's silence was observed in honour of the great Pele, after the legendary footballer passed away due to cancer yesterday.
It was all square at 2-2 heading into the final portion of the game, when the Young Hoops began to run riot.
Charlie McCann had put Rangers ahead with a penalty after Zak Lovelace was fouled in the box on 15 minutes.

Ewan Otoo went close for the hosts before Rocco Vata found the equaliser just before half-time.
Lovelace missed a glorious chance after the restart as he outran two Celtic defenders and was baring down on goal but with the the target staring at him he scuffed his shot wide, with Robbie Ure asking for the ball to be played in.
The away side did retake the lead in the second half through James Graham, who came on for Lovelace when he appeared to suffer an injury.
The striker received a pass from Aaron Lyall on the half-turn and finished with coolly to make it 2-1.

Celtic had been knocking at the door though and eventually the visitors were pegged back and would ship three goals in the final 15 minutes, starting with a McCann own goal just two minutes after Graham's strike.
It was Joey Dawson who scored a late double to pile on the disappointment for the Young Gers.
His first was from close range into an empty net and his second was also a penalty box finish.
Rangers B are still top of the Lowland League table despite the result but Celtic have reduced the gap to six points.
Recently-promoted Tranent Juniors occupy second spot with Stirling University and East Kilbride further separating the Old Firm rivals.
