Deulofeu, now at Udinese, features prominently on their list of targets – which also includes Ismaila Sarr after a summer move from Vicarage Road stalled.
Udinese had valued Deulofeu at around £17million when the likes of AC Milan and Napoli registered interest at the end of last season.
The 28-year-old has recorded six assists and three goals so far this term, with Udinese pushing for the European places in Serie A.
Deulofeu – formerly of Everton and Watford - scored 13 goals last season and is open to a switch away.

'I like him a lot,' said Emery. 'He is playing very well, gaining confidence and experience.'
