Celtic ace Moritz Jenz opens up on future deal talks but ‘Mercedes’ aims to go full throttle for remainder of loan spell

MORITZ JENZ earned a car-inspired nickname after some Rolls-Royce performances at the start of his loan.
Now he aims to go 'full throttle' for Celtic during the rest of the season.
Jenz has often spoken of his happiness in Glasgow since moving on a season-long loan from Lorient, describing the club as mysterious and as big as a religion.
The Berlin native has also enjoyed his spell living in the city and detailed his early morning brushes with fans on BUILDING SITES during his 6am jogs.
Every day, he says "is a dream" and he is aiming for a long-term stay in Scotland if it continues.
Speaking to RBB24 in his home city he admitted talks over a stay beyond the summer have yet to begin - but he'd be more than happy.

"Let's see what happens. I just keep going full throttle for Celtic."
The accidental car reference suits the defender nicknamed 'Mercedes' Jenz and the 23-year-old has fully embraced his new moniker.

He explained: "After I scored two goals in my first two games, there was a meme on the web where my head was mounted on a Mercedes.

"It shows appreciation for a player."
Jenz has felt right at home from an early stage and has recently passed his driving test in the city.
He added: "I've felt really comfortable here since day one. I lived in England for eight years, it's similar there.
"I like the people, they're just really nice. I also like the weather, although it rains a lot and is cold.
"It really is an awesome city with lots of options. When you play for a club like Celtic you just can't complain.
"It's a dream to play for such a huge club with a worldwide fan base.
"During the World Cup we were in Australia and we had 6,000 to 7,000 fans with us. 60,000 spectators always come to the home games.
