DREAMS DON'T DIE

Rangers fans are loving Scott Arfield’s cheeky response to Tannadice goal hero Fashion Sakala’s social media post

FASHION SAKALA quickly won over the Rangers fans with his attitude and personality, and he's been getting it done on the pitch in recent weeks too.

Man of the match against Celtic last week, Sakala scored a superb opening goal at Tannadice to set the Gers on the way to a 2-0 win over Dundee United this weekend.

Having struggled to hold down a regular place in the team or find consistency so far as a Rangers player, the 25-year old has become a key man for Michael Beale in recent weeks.

He's even credited his new boss for helping him to feel "like a footballer again."

Sakala has scored three goals in six appearances since the Premiership's post-World Cup restart, netting crucial goals against Hibs, Aberdeen and then again at Tannadice.

Something that fans have become accumstomed to are Sakala's motivational post-match social media posts.

Every game without fail, the Zambian takes to his Instagram account with a brief comment on the match, plus what has become somewhat of a catchphrase.

Along with a bible quote, Sakala always signs-off his posts by saying "FS10 DREAMS DON'T DIE."

This weekend was no different as he appeared with his usual post-match post on Instagram following the Tannadice triumph.

He posted: "GOD BLESS.

"Great performance from the team and beautiful victory away from home.

"FS10 DREAMS DON'T DIE."

Rangers fans often lap up Sakala's posts, with many often returning his "dreams don't die" catchphrase back to him.

And it seems that his signature quote hasn't gone unnoticed by his Ibrox teammates either!

Responding to Sakala's latest post, Scott Arfield rocked up in the comments section much to the amusement of Gers supporters.

Poking a bit of fun at his Gers pal, Arfield cheekily replied: "Dreams don't die son, dreams don't die."

Several Rangers fans commented with laughing emojis below Arfield's comment, with one amused supporter saying "love that."

Sakala himself responded, saying: "Thank you my man Arf."

Sakala and Arfield could be joined by some new teammates in the coming days, with boss Michael Beale admitting he's "excited" about the players he could be about to bring in.

Norwich winger Todd Cantwell and Everton's Tom Davies have been linked, although Beale stopped short of confirming interest in anyone by name.

On his January business, he said: "We need growers and people who are going to come in in the next two or three years and help us win trophies and do well in Europe.

“That is the most important thing now. If I was to rush it and get it wrong, you’ll all condemn me. I hope you will be excited as I am about the two or three additions we are hoping to do.

"The training level has gone up every week since I have been here. I think one or two players maybe coming in from Premier League clubs or clubs around Europe with a real good profile that will certainly help us. I want to turn the heat up, I want to turn the dial up in the building."
