HEARTS goalkeeper Craig Gordon has had a rollercoaster month, it would be fair to say.
The Scotland No1 turned 40 on December 31 and celebrated with a lavish party thrown by partner Summer Harl.
But he marked his big birthday on crutches after he suffered a horrific double leg-break on Christmas Eve.
The blow against Dundee United and subsequent surgery took the shine off the family's first Christmas with new baby Axel - but they had another cause to celebrate over the festive period.
Former Celtic TV presenter Summer has shown off a stunning diamond engagement ring after the keeper popped the question last month.
And her adorable family video revealed she said a resounding yes on December 21 - just THREE DAYS before Gordon's horrific collision with Steven Fletcher in Hearts' 2-2 draw.

Harl also showed his return home after the treatment in Ninewells Hospital Dundee, where he played doting dad with eldest son Ace on his knee.
The goalie is now taking the first steps on his recovery and was back at Tynecastle to see his team-mates within days.
He's hoping to be back fit to play next season - and to walk his bride-to-be down the aisle on their big day.
His new fiancee's latest post on social media reveals the news they had kept secret in the aftermath of his injury - and shown off her stunning new jewellery.

The family all hold hands before building up the anticipation by pulling away one at a time to reveal the oval diamond encrusted ring on Harl's hand beneath.
The adorable reel also features baby Axel tiny hand clutching his mum's pinkie finger.
She told her Instagram followers: "Just over a month ago, all these hands - big and small, had a hand in the BEST moment. 21.12.22
"A lot has happened since, and almost immediately after, so we decided to hold off celebrating for a bit, but sharing this (happier) news with family and friends has been so lovely.
"YES x 1,000,000. Mrs Gordon to be! X"
The Hearts stopper has two daughters from a previous marriage to ex-wife Jennifer and shares two sons Ace and Axel with partner Harl.
Axel was born in October - on the morning of Scotland's World Cup play-off win over Ukraine, which Gordon featured in.
On Sunday, the keeper watched as his club team-mates - with deputy Zander Clark in goal - saw off city rivals Hibs in the Scottish Cup 3-0 to book a place in the fifth round of the competition the keeper has won three times.
