Savage, 19, made his first-team debut as a late substitute in the Champions League against BSC Young Boys in December 2021.

The midfielder was also named on the bench for Ralf Rangnick’s final game in charge, a 1-0 defeat by Crystal Palace on the final day of last season, and has not featured in a competitive match day squad under Erik ten Hag.
