According to Dutch outlet, Voetbal International, Victor Orta has been asking Luis Sinisterra what he thinks about Arne Slot as he eyes up a move for the Dutch manager.
Sinisterra, of course, knows Slot from his time playing under him at Feyenoord, and it’s fair to say that he may have given him a glowing review.
Indeed, it’s hard to imagine that the Colombian will have had too many bad things to say about Slot.
The Dutch manager helped the South American become one of the hottest properties in Europe last season. The 23-year-old netted no fewer than 23 goals in all competitions under Slot last term, and one has to imagine that he’d relish the chance to play under the Dutchman once more at Leeds.
While Sinisterra may have spoken highly of Slot. It may be difficult for Leeds to strike a deal for the Feyenoord head coach.

According to this report. Feyenoord are entirely unwilling to play ball with Leeds when it comes to negotiating a move for Slot.
To be honest, we can absolutely understand why Feyenoord would knock back any approach for their manager. Slot is leading a revolution in Rotterdam and Feyenoord are in with a real shout of winning their first Eredivisie title in six years this season.
Factor in that they’re also still competing in the cup and the Europa League, it’s entirely understandable why Feyenoord are keen to keep Slot at De Kuip.
Of course, whether or not they have the power to hold off the pull of the Premier League remains to be seen, but, at the moment, they are not entertaining the idea of letting their manager go.
