LeBron James poses with new Liverpool kit as club unveil 'unique' collection
NBA and basketball legend LeBron James has posed with a new Liverpool kit as part of a new collection unveiled by the club
Liverpool have announced a new clothing range inspired by NBA legend LeBron James.
The LA Lakers star is well known to be a Liverpool fan, and even has a one percent stake in Fenway Sports Group, having previously held a two per cent stake in the club itself. Earlier in the week, the club teased the new range of clothes inspired by the basketball icon.
On Thursday morning, the club announced that the new range was available for fans to purchase. Their posts on social media included several Liverpool players, including Jordan Henderson, Andy Robertson, Alisson Becker and Fabio Carvalho all sporting the new range.

Another tweet featured James himself wearing the football shirt that is part of the collection. The 38-year-old recently broke the NBA all-time scoring record, overtaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar whose previous record had stood since 1984.
“Strive for greatness with the Liverpool FC x LeBron James collection,” the club’s website reads, as it advertises the new range.
“This unique fashion and footwear range embodies a long-standing connection between two global sporting icons, celebrating our shared values and illustrious histories.
“From the court to the pitch, to training and game-night fits, we've got pieces for every occasion, player or fan.
“Get your reps in or kick back and enjoy watching either beautiful game in comfort and style. You can shop items for men, women and children alike.
“However you strive for greatness in life, you'll never walk alone in the Liverpool x LeBron James collection.”
Speaking about the new collection, Henderson, said: “I’m a big fan of LeBron and all he’s achieved to become one of the greatest basketball players in history.
“It’s great to see the link up with LFC and to be a part of this exciting collaboration with the club.”
Liverpool Women forward Shanice van de Sanden also spoke about the collection, saying: “I’m really proud to be a football player for Liverpool FC and to see this collaboration is very cool.
"It’s also more than just a collaboration, there’s something behind it, an inspiring message of ‘Strive for Greatness’.”
LeBron James was seen wearing a custom pair of Liverpool Nike basketball trainers recently as well.
