Carlos Corberan makes Josh Griffiths call among four West Brom changes

West Brom boss Carlos Corberan makes four changes to his Albion team for the visit of Blackburn Rovers

West Brom boss Carlos Corberan has selected Josh Griffiths to start in goal for Albion's visit of Blackburn Rovers this evening. Griffiths, 21, makes his Albion debut in place of colleague David Button, who drops to the bench after last Friday's 2-0 defeat at Birmingham City.

Griffiths has almost 100 career appearances to his name despite his young years, having enjoyed loan spells with Cheltenham Town, Lincoln City and, most recently, at Portsmouth. He is the third senior goalkeeper to play a Championship game for Albion this season after Button and injured counterpart Alex Palmer.

Elsewhere, Corberan freshens things up. John Swift, Brandon Thomas-Asante and Nathaniel Chalobah all start, the latter like Griffiths also making his first start for the Baggies since his January switch from Fulham.

Daryl Dike, Jayson Molumby and Grady Diangana all drop to the bench. Matt Phillips, Palmer and Kyle Bartley join Tom Rogic in missing out through injury, but Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Jake Livermore are missing purely through selection.

Blackburn, who beat Albion in the reverse fixture back in August, start with Bradley Dack and Ben Brereton-Diaz in attack.
