West Ham United manager David Moyes is due to speak to the media on Tuesday morning.

The Hammers will look to cause an FA Cup fifth round upset at Old Trafford on Wednesday night when they take on Manchester United for a place in the competition’s quarter-finals.

Moyes is expected to be discussing the latest team news ahead of the game, as well as provide an update on the current injury situation, with winger Maxwel Cornet (calf) and centre-back Kurt Zouma (thigh) not featuring in the squad for Saturday’s 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest, despite the duo returning to training in recent days.

During the emphatic win over Forest on Saturday, right-back Vladimir Coufal and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski were forced off with respective heel and eye injuries, making them a doubt to face the side who won the 2023 Carabao Cup less than 48 hours ago.

Moyes is also set to give his thoughts on United, the competition and the Hammers’ first win in four matches at the weekend in all competitions.

The press conference is due to start at around 10am. Stay tuned for live updates throughout.

Embargo

That's it for now. More to come shortly.

On Ings

We were short with the injury to Gianluca Scamacca during the international break. We bought him in to give us extra cover for Mick. Our goalscoring was down and we wanted to add, it's a great start for him and we're hoping to build.

On Rashford

We have to defend against so many good players in the league, Rashford is one of them. We were really unfrotunate, David De Gea played really well on the day.

On Ten Hag's tactics

You should ask Ten Hag about that, I can only admire him from a distance and what he's doing there.

On Ten Hag

I think he's done a great job. Manchester United are a side used to success and they are climbing back to it.

On form

I think the players have been out and showed that. All of them played really, recently I think we've done okay, we had a dissapointing result at Tottenham but barring that, we've had a few draws and a win. As I alluded to earlier, we've got away game now and an away game in the Conference League. Hopefully, our form will continue to improve.

More on Forest win

In the end, we got one and then we scored the second really quickly settled us right down.

On Forest win

I think when you've not been having the best run of results, scoring four is big. Unfortunately, we've had a couple of injuries from what we've had, it just alters us and it will make us change again.

On 2009 memories

Probably the won we won on penalty kicks, it was well-planned but we knew there was a good chance we could push Man United really close. We knew it would be a tough game and it will be a really tough game.

On Everton FA Cup run

It's a really good question because we do have to think closer about things. I would love to get West Ham to a cup final, I would love to win a cup final. I had a great run at Everton and I would love to do the same with West Ham.

On away games

We have a couple of knocks that we will have to make late decisions. It doesn't help that our trip to Brighton didn't get moved to a Sunday. This one makes it a bit awkward, and then we have to go to Cyprus as well.

On United

I think Manchester United have a really strong squad of players but we are improving ourselves.

On Carabao Cup final

I think everybody has seen a much improved Manchester United. I thought Newcastle played very well in the game as well. It was a very tight game.

On team news

We've got a squad available and ready to go. We've got a few injuries, Lukasz Fabianski has got a fractured cheekbone and eyesocket. We don't know whether it will be operated on yet. Vladimir Coufal has got a heel injury, I think that's really the two injuries we have from the weekend. Danny Ings is cup tied.

Moyes is here

About to start here.

Johnson on cup runs

Ben Johnson has said West Ham United have two opportunities this season to go on cup runs, starting on Wednesday against Manchester United.

The Hammers will face the newly crowned Carabao Cup winners at Old Trafford, looking to progress past the fifth round of the competition for the first time since the 2015/16 season, where they lost to United 2-1 after a replay.

Despite struggling in the Premier League so far this season, David Moyes' side have equipped themselves well in cup competitions. In the UEFA Europa Conference League they topped their group with six wins from six games - the first club in the competition's short history to do so.

Less than 20 to go

David Moyes due to speak in less than 20 minutes. Stay tuned for all of the latest.

Paqueta's squad admission

Lucas Paqueta feels the West Ham United squad are now on the same wavelength following a host of new arrivals this year.

The Hammers signed six first-team players in the summer transfer window. Paqueta arrived from Lyon and was joined by Flynn Downes from Swansea, Sassuolo's Gianluca Scamacca, Maxwel Cornet of Burnley, PSG's Thilo Kehrer and Emerson from London rivals Chelsea - spending over £100million in total fees.

With such a high number of players arriving in east London, David Moyes' side have so far struggled to match the highs of last season where they finished seventh and qualified for Europe.

Redknapp's verdict

Harry Redknapp believes the duo of Declan Rice and Danny Ings will help keep West Ham United in the Premier League.

Both, Ings twice, scored for the Hammers in their convincing 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon, with Michail Antonio scoring the fourth.

The victory at the London Stadium lifted David Moyes' side out of the relegation zone and two points clear of 18th place, heading into the final few months of the season.
