In our view, Cody Gakpo was one of the best players for Liverpool against Manchester United at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 23-year-old Netherlands international was a constant problem for the United defenders.
Gakpo was brilliant out wide and cutting in, and he had one of his best games in a Liverpool shirt since his transfer in January 2023.
The forward has not always been consistent for Liverpool, but his performance against United shows the quality that he has.
Gakpo took his two goals extremely well, was a force to be reckoned with, and looked at ease playing against one of the biggest clubs in the world.
