Danny Rose rips into Tottenham after Champions League exit to AC Milan and wants people to be held accountable

Ex-Spurs defender Danny Rose has lashed out at Tottenham following their Champions League exit to AC Milan on Wednesday night.
Antonio Conte's side produced a lacklustre performance against the fifth-placed Serie A side, with the clash finishing goalless in north London.
Cristian Romero was also sent off, as Spurs had a night to forget at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It meant Brahim Diaz's first leg strike was enough to send Milan through to the quarter-finals of Europe's elite competition.
Spurs were previously dumped out of the Carabao Cup, and then endured a 1-0 defeat against Sheffield United in the FA Cup - meaning it will be another wait for silverware.
Former Spurs defender Rose pulled no punches after watching his old side crash out of Europe.
"You say they have the best stadium... you can have the best house but if the furniture's not the best inside then it's irrelevant," he told Sky Sports.
"Going at the hierarchy... I still look to go into the Spurs training ground so I'll have to be careful what I say but I think that everybody has to be held accountable."
Rose was part of the side that was defeated by Liverpool in the Champions League final in 2019 and featured more than 200 times for the club.
He ended up falling out with Jose Mourinho and released at the end of his contract in 2021.
He added: "I heard something recently that the signings have not been great and it's bizarre as I'm sure I said something like that six years ago and got fined two weeks wages but here we are.
"Everybody has to be held accountable and I think it will be interesting to see where they go from here until the end of the season."
Spurs' Champions League exit means top four is now the priority, but ultimately, it is another frustrating season for Tottenham fans whose side will finish the campaign trophyless yet again.
