Gabby Agbonlahor has said on talkSPORT (5:37pm, March 11, 2023) that Darwin Nunez played well for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The former Aston Villa striker believes that Klopp was wrong to take off Nunez in the second half of the game.
Liverpool lost 1-0 to relegation candidates Bournemouth.
Mohamed Salah failed to convert a penalty.
Nunez started on the left of a front-three for Liverpool.
The Uruguay international was taken off midway through the second half.
Roberto Firmino came on in his place.
Gabby Agbonlahor on Darwin Nunez for Liverpool vs Bournemouth
Agbonlahor said about Nunez: “Nunez was sharp. He brought him off. I thought Jurgen Klopp got it wrong today.”

Disappointing performance
In our view, Darwin Nunez did not play well for Liverpool against Bournemouth.
The 23-year-old did work hard, but the youngster’s runs were quite aimless and not targeted.
Nunez was quite good against Manchester United at Anfield in the Premier League last weekend.
However, against Bournemouth on Saturday, the striker did not make the right decisions.
Yes, Nunez is always a threat with his running and his ability to make himself a nuisance to the opposition, but he really could not make a huge impact for Liverpool against the Cherries.
