Celtic news latest as Joe Hart takes the mick out of Carter Vickers and Juranovic's post Parkhead joy continues
The Hoops are are targeting another domestic Treble this season.
Joe Hart has joked something must be going well if Cameron Carter-Vickers is pictured smiling.
Celtic already have the Viaplay Cup in the bag and sit nine points clear of Glasgow rivals Rangers in the Scottish Premiership title race. And they are well on course to add the Scottish Cup to that trophy haul after a convincing 3-0 win over Hearts on Saturday to book a semi-final date at Hampden. It's the only trophy that Ange Postecoglou hasn't won during his near two-year stint in the Parkhead hot seat.
Hart was largely a spectator at Tynecastle with Robbie Neilson's hosts only mustering up one attempt on target during a tie where Aaron Mooy, Kyogo Furuhashi and Carter-Vickers were on target. Carter-Vickers has been crucial to a Hoops side that have conceded just seven goals from 14 games since the turn of the year, and after the match Hart couldn't help but mention that the formidable form has even got the bullish American defender smiling. He wrote on Instagram: "Massive win…it must be a good day if even CCV is smiling, amazing support, loved it #COYBIG"
Another man who is smiling is former Hoop Josip Juranovic who netted from the penalty spot in Union Berlin's draw with Wolfsburg. He'd already netted a couple in the Europa League but he was the man from 12 yards as they took the lead in the 72nd minute only to be pegged back with four minutes remaining. It means the Croatian now has an impressive three goals and three assists in just eight games for his new side.
Back at Parkhead, Hart wasn't the only Celtic star to lap up their most recent victory. Jota made it clear he is loving his time in Glasgow with the a short message which said: “Glad we can all live this together." While Kyogo wasn't wanting to take any plaudits away from his teammates. “Teamwork makes the dream work," shared the Japanese striker.
Celtic will be joined by Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Rangers in the hat for the last four, while one of Falkirk or Ayr United can cement the final spot when they meet on Monday night.
