Nottingham Forest star Renan Lodi pulled off one of the most miraculous clearances in Premier League history - by doing his best impression of Ronaldinho and hitting his own crossbar.

The 24-year-old defender reminded fans of his iconic countryman despite mixing up his feet after a double deflection with victors Newcastle looking to take the lead following a clever Kieran Trippier free-kick.

With spectators waiting for the ball to hit the back of the net after Alexander Isak's shot was saved, it whacked the crossbar and fell into the grateful hands of Keylor Navas as Forest stayed level.
