Italian football's horniest stars - from sex-mad Antonio Cassano to Silvio Berlusconi
The Italian national team is one of the most passionate and excitable football nations in the world and their enthusiasm for football is replicated behind closed doors
Italy is a country built on passion, love, romance and, if these six members of Italian football are anything to go by, sex.
And lots of it. Italian teams throughout football history have always prided themselves on their ability to keep a clean sheet - attitudes may be somewhat different in the bedroom.
England travel to Naples to face the Azzurri for the first match of their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign. And as Gareth Southgate’s prepares his side for the pressure cooker that is the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Daily Star Sport considers six of Italian football’s horniest stars.

Silvio Berlusconi
The disgraced former Italian prime minister has very eyebrow raising methods when it comes to motivating his players. He owned AC Milan between 1986 and 2017, overseeing a glorious period for the Rossoneri.
Berlusconi is now in charge of Serie A side Monza who are currently playing in their first ever campaign in the top flight. And when they were pitched against Juventus, he made quite the promise to his Monza stars. “I have also given the players extra motivation and I have told them that if we beat Milan, Juventus... one of these big clubs, I send them a 'bus full of sex workers to the locker room.” Monza went and beat Juventus 2-0 - it’s unknown as to whether he fulfilled his promise or not.

Antonio Cassano
Never has a player been so smooth and graceful, but yet so fiery and rash on the pitch. The former Real Madrid and Roma star had a strange tendency to strip down to his tiny whities after matches. However, hundreds more have seen him completely starkers, as the former striker claimed he had bedded 700 women by the age of 25-years-old.
The somewhat outrageous statement was swiftly followed by another claim that 20 of those women were celebrities. Cassano was a wonderful player, but many believe he could have been even better had he focussed more on his game. Maybe he needed more time on the training ground than in the bedroom.
Christian Vieri
Christian Vieri was one of the most prolific forwards of his generation. He retired with a goal ratio greater than a goal every two games and as Italy’s joint-World Cup top goalscorer.
However, his achievements and star quality on the pitch pales in comparison with his charm and bedroom exploits. "Since the age of 18, there have been very few days of abstinence,” he said in a previous interview. Nowadays, he is married to Italian television personality Costanza Caracciolo, whom he has two children with.
Roberto Mancini
The Italian maestro is coolness personified. With a wardrobe Italian crime bosses would be envious off, a Premier League, Serie A, and European Championship winners’ medals, and a lovely head of hair, Mancini is the envy of many men his age. However, that does not mean the slick former Manchester City manager is graceful in everything he does.
During his second stint as Inter Milan manager, he grew so tired of repeated questions about the future of Mauro Icardi, he immediately dug into the x-rated part of his brain to shut down their talk. "I do not read newspapers, do not listen to radio, I do not watch TV or private channels... just porn,” he said to a flabbergasted media. Inter did manage to hold onto Icardi during his time there - perhaps porn is the secret.
Davide Lovinella
Davide Lovinella is not the most well known name in Italian football, but he is relatively famous in the world of international porn. The former ASD Caldio Pomigliano swapped the beautiful game for a life of hot and sweaty bedroom gymnastics on camera.
He applied for a role in an adult movie and was one of 3000 people to be chosen to work alongside director Rocco Siffredi. "It's not like being in bed with your partner, so you have to work hard and be stable," he told The Sun when asked about his career change.
