The USMNT had its way against Grenada completely annulling their winning chances with a 7-1 score at the Kirane James Athletic Stadium in St. George consolidating their position at the top of Group D in Zone A of the Nations League. Christian Pulisic had a great game, with two assists and a goal, and showed why he is the USMNT leader.

Anthony Hudson's attacks were unchallenged during the match

Not even five minutes into the match when Ricardo Pepi, who didn't even jump inside the box, headed home to make it 1-0. Grenada wanted to react immediately and the best they could do was through Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong, who smashed his shot against the left post. But that was all.

Pulisic took advantage of the weakness of the local defense passing to Aaronson, who received it and after dodging an opponent made it 2-0. Then came five minutes of madness with three goals, from 30 to 35, with McKennie's double and the home side's only goal, by Hippolyte, to make it 4-1 at halftime, a total and overwhelming domination by the USMNT.

Grenada was not safe as the USMNT continued the onslaught on the second half

The USMNT did not rest as Pulisic took advantage of the goalkeeper's lack of concentration to make it 5-1, before Pepi signed for his second goal of the night to extend the lead. Despite the changes and the departure of the USMNT's best men like Pulisic, Pepi, and McKennie, they never lost control of the match. One of the men who came on was Alejandro Zendejas, who was also wanted by the Mexican national team, and when he got his chance he took it with a left-footed shot outside the box for his big debut with the team.

Thus, the U.S. team took an important step towards securing its place in the CONCACAF Final Four, in addition to securing a spot in the next Gold Cup. The USMNT is the leader of Group D with 7 points, two more than El Salvador, their next opponent, and the team they will play against for the top spot.
