Arsenal have made contact to try and sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Jesper Lindstrom as they prepare for his summer exit.
That’s according to Sport1 reporter Christopher Michel, who claims that Arsenal are moving for Lindstrom.
It’s stated that Frankfurt are now getting themselves ready to sell Lindstrom.
The Dane will be allowed to leave for around €30million (£26million) this summer, which seems quite cheap.
Lindstrom is under contract until 2026 but Frankfurt seem ready to strike a deal.
Three or four clubs have come forward to contact Frankfurt about a summer move and Arsenal are one of them.
Sport1 add that Brentford are also interested in signing Lindstrom this summer.

Arsenal have held loud-standing interest in Jesper Lindstrom
Arsenal were first linked with Lindstrom back in March 2021 as Jeunes Footeux reported that the Gunners and West Ham United both wanted Lindstrom.
Then with Brondby, Lindstrom had shown huge potential in Denmark and secured himself a move to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Arsenal’s interest hasn’t disappeared as both Calciomercato and Bild reported earlier this season that the Gunners remain keen.
Edu now appears to be firming up Arsenal’s interest in Lindstrom ahead of what could be an exciting move.
Lindstrom, 23, has been superb for Frankfurt this season with nine goals and four assists in all competitions.
Capable of playing out wide or as an attacking midfielder, Lindstrom could be a versatile threat for Mikel Arteta.
Lindstrom has been hailed as a ‘huge talent’ by teammate Kevin Trapp and it’s no surprise that Premier League clubs now want him.
£26million seems a very decent price for Lindstrom if Arsenal can strike a deal at that valuation, with Lindstrom still having major potential.
Other clubs will be in the mix, possibly from the Premier League, but Arsenal may now hope to finally secure the Dane after watching him for more than two years.
