Man of the moment Allan McGregor made it 500 not out for Rangers before trolling his skipper James Tavernier.
The 41-year-old had a day to remember as Dundee United didn't give him much to do as the Ibrox side strolled to a 2-0 win to cut the gap on Premiership leaders Celtic to six points. And he soaked up the adulation form his adoring public in the aftermath of the victory before the captain came on the scene.
Tavernier joked: "Clean sheet, dafty!" Before the Rangers veteran sharply responded: "It's about time, too." Tavernier doubled down on his delight over the clean sheet and that's when the Ibrox icon made sure to tease his mate on his big day. He said: "That's because they took you off!"
