Jota gets Henrik Larsson nod of approval as Celtic ace shares footage of matching derby strikes against Rangers

JOTA paid tribute to Henrik Larsson following his goal against Rangers yesterday – and got a nod of recognition back from the Celtic legend.
The Portuguese ace rounded Allan McGregor before finishing from a tight angle to give Ange Postecoglou’s men a 3-1 lead in the Celtic Park derby.
And although James Tavernier reduced the deficit with his 100th Rangers goal, the Hoops held on to record the win that sends them 12 points clear at the top of the table.
With just seven games remaining, it all looks done and dusted with Celtic set to clinch back-to-back championships under Postecoglou.
Jota has either been kept informed about the club’s back story or knows his Celtic history.
The winger posted an Instagram story of his strike that gave his team a two-goal advantage.

And under it he posted a similar video of Larsson netting a derby goal at Ibrox after veering to his left to round the goalkeeper before slotting the ball into the net.
The movement of both players is uncanny – and both finish well from a difficult position to send the Celtic fans wild.
Jota captioned it: “Inspired by the greatest”, something always likely to go down well with Hoops fans.
Celtic reposted Jota’s video and tagged in Larsson – and the Swede then posted it onto his page in recognition of the Portuguese winger’s achievement.

It’s not the first time Jota has been impressed with one of Larsson’s old Old Firm strikes.
Last month the winger was shown footage of the former Barcelona and Man United star’s famous chipped finish in the 6-2 win under Martin O’Neill.
And Jota's reaction was priceless as he watched it all unfold in front of his eyes - with a special 'toot toot' when he came up with the nutmeg on Bert Konterman.
He said: "Here he goes, the main main."
When he comes up with the nutmeg, he says: "Toot too! Ooooh, oooh.
He added: "I haven't seen this before. I knew he did this but I haven't seen this.
"Well done. The guy's class.
"Only top players can do this.
"He must have been confident.
