Manchester United will continue their preparations for Thursday's match with Tottenham today but appear to have suffered another injury setback.
United will be back in North London just four days on from their penalty win at Wembley to take on the flailing Spurs, who sacked caretaker manager Cristian Stellini on Monday following the 6-1 defeat to Newcastle.
A win for Erik ten Hag's side will see them go nine points clear of fifth-placed Spurs and take the ascendency in the race for a Champions League place.
However, it's looking increasingly likely that they will be without Bruno Fernandes after he suffered an ankle injury against Brighton.
Ana Pinho, Fernandes' wife, posted a photo on her Instagram story on Monday evening which showed Fernandes sitting on a sofa with his right leg elevated on a stack of cushions. His foot was wrapped in a brace while a bigger moon boot and a pair of crutches were at his side, which doesn't bode well for his chances of playing on Thursday.

United have found the perfect alternative to Bellingham
Though it may be the most important, a striker is not the only player Manchester United need to sign this summer.
David de Gea's struggles in Seville have once again raised the issue of an upgrade in between the sticks, the injury crisis at the back has highlighted the need for reinforcements at centre-back and right-back and Erik ten Hag wants to add another quality midfielder to his ranks.
Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and Christian Eriksen have formed an excellent trifecta but United are considerably worse when even one of them isn't available.

Nemanja Vidic on Lisandro Martinez
"I like him, he likes to defend and that's what I saw when he first came. Obviously, I had doubts when he came because of his height, but he is good in the air and he's got away with his height.
"He knows how to position himself, I think he's a good character and good for the dressing room because he has that winning mentality, he's a fighter."

Premier League pair join Palhinha race
Tottenham and Chelsea have joined United in exploring amove for Joao Palhinha, according to Football Insider.
Palhinha has been outstanding for Fulham this season with Marco Silva's side impressing on their first season back in the Premier League. The Portuguese international has comfortably made the most tackles in the top-flight with 114.
The 27-year-old cost Fulham just £20million last summer, signing a five-year deal at the club, but they are expecting interest to come ahead of next season.

Butland 'close to Rangers deal'
A report from The Scottish Sun has indicated that Jack Butland will not be returning to United after this season's loan spell.
The goalkeeper was brought in during January to cover for the early loan exit of Martin Dubravka.
The 30-year-old is out of contract at Crystal Palace this summer and Rangers are said to be close to wrapping up a deal.

Tottenham confirm Ryan Mason’s coaching staff ahead of United
Tottenham have confirmed Ryan Mason’s backroom staff ahead of the club’s Premier League clash with Manchester United on Thursday.
Spurs announced that former interim boss Cristian Stellini had left his role following Sunday’s 6-1 loss to Newcastle, in which they conceded five goals in 21 minutes. Ryan Mason was announced as the new caretaker in what is his second stint in the position.
Matt Wells comes into the assistant manager role for the time being while academy coach Nigel Gibbs comes in as acting first-team coach. Goalkeeper coach Perry Suckling and set-piece coach Gianni Vio stay in their roles.

Garnacho has already made United's decision for him
In the dying embers of the FA Cup semi-final, Erik ten Hag looked over to his bench to see what he could change. Manchester United were lifeless and leggy for much of the match against Brighton, yet the manager was reluctant to bring on fresh legs just for the sake of it.
Anthony Martial only lasted until the 85th minute because, quite frankly, there were no other viable options at United's disposal.
Antony was replaced in added time when it became abundantly clear he would not be the match-winner they had hoped for.

Vidic praises Martinez
Former United defender Nemaja Vidic admits he had initial doubts over Lisandro Martinez but loves his battling mentality.
Here's what the Serbian told FIVE:
"I like him, he likes to defends and that's why I saw when he first came. Obviously, I had doubts when he came because of his height, but he is good in the air and he's got away with his height.
"He knows how to position himself, I think he's a good character and good for the dressing room because he has that winning mentality, he's a fighter.
"He likes to defend, that desire you need to have on the pitch and you have to have certain players doing this 'energy lifting' and he does that. Unfortunately he's injured now but he's definitely a great signing for us, he did great."

Leipzig make final Olmo offer
RB Leipzig have tabled a final contract offer for Dani Olmo, the winger previously linked with a move to United, according to Sky Germany Florian Plettenberg.
Olmo's current contract runs out in 2024, with a stalling in negotiations alerting the Reds among several others.
A failure to reach an agreement on this occasion would reportedly see Leipzig sell, with the German outfit demanding €30million.

Thomas Zilliacus second bid 'stands'
Thomas Zilliacus has confirmed that his offer during the second round of takeover bidding 'stands' but wants to hold negotiations with the Glazers.
The current owners infuriated many fans with the decision to open a third round of bidding, with the official deadline for new offers of Friday April 28.
Zilliacus slammed the decision as a 'farce', but earlier today confirmed his bid remains.
As said when I announced that I would not do a new third round bid, I have today informed the bank handling the sale of United that my bid from round 2 stands. My bid does not have a cap. The final price is subject to negotiations with the sellers #ManchesterUnited #UnitedWeStand

Gravenberch sends warning to Bayern
Reported United target Ryan Gravenberch has warned that his game-time 'has to change' at Bayern Munich next season.
The 20-year-old has featured 28 times for Bayern since joining last summer, but only four of those have come as a starter. His frustrations have alerted other clubs of a potential move, with United and Liverpool said to be interested.
Here's what the Dutchman told Voetbal International:
"In the beginning, of course, I had to get used to it here, a new environment. Everything is much faster, sometimes even training sessions felt like competitions.
"It's a top European club, you can't miss a thing, but I feel like that 'getting used to it' has been behind my for a while now.
"Training and playing at the top level for a year is beautiful and instructive. I say playing, but it's mainly training. That has to change next season, then I really want to play weekly again.
“I haven't spoken to the club management yet, so just wait and see what happens. But it's clear that this role does not match my expectations."

Reds 'ready to pay' Livakovic release clause
United are 'ready to pay' the €10million release clause for Dinamo Zagreb goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic, according to Croatian outletJutarnji.
Despite his current contract expiring this summer David De Gea looks set to sign a new short-term deal at United before the summer.
But with Dean Henderson set to leave and Jack Butland returning to parent club Crystal Palace, Erik ten Hag will likely be in the market for a shot-stopper, with reports suggesting they are interested in Livakovic.
The 28-year-old has made over 250 times for Zagreb and has been capped by Croatia 43 times, with any interested parties needing to activate his €10million release clause.

Brighton confirm Ferguson contract
Brighton have confirmed that Evan Ferguson has signed a new five-year contract amid reported interest from United.
Erik ten Hag's side had checked on Ferguson's availability ahead of the summer, with the Dutchman eyeing reinforcements upfront.

De Zerbi on Weghorst 'kiss of death'
Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi has shared his thoughts on Wout Weghorst's penalty shoot-out 'kiss of death' on Sunday.
Weghorst fired home his penalty before kissing the ball and handing it to Solly March, the Seagulls man duly skying his penalty over the bar.
The Dutchman has since admitted he felt a little bad for March, but De Zerbi has admitted it is just part of the game:
It's football. I don't think he [Weghorst] did anything incorrect.

Inter set Onana price-tag
Inter Milan will demand around £35million for their goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer amid previous links to United, according toGazzetta dello Sport.
Erik ten Hag's side have been linked with a number of shot-stoppers while uncertainty over David De Gea's future remains. The 32-year-old's current deal will expire this summer, with talks ongoing over fresh terms.
De Gea's future notwithstanding, Ten Hag will likely be eyeing a new goalkeeper in the near future but any approach for Onana will see the Reds forced to stump up £35million.

Atalanta issue Højlund update
Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini has revealed that the Italian outfit will find it "impossible" to reject big-money offers for United transfer target Rasmus Højlund this forthcoming summer.
The Danish international has been pinpointed as a potential option for United to strengthen their forward options. He is understood to be on their radar and they are keeping tabs on him.

OPINION: Garnacho has already made United's decision for him
"Alejandro Garnacho views the U20 World Cup as another opportunity to prove his worth at international level, as he looks to eventually earn a permanent promotion to the senior set-up and play a key role for them in the years ahead. The issue is that United don't have any interest in doing that, and while they recognise it would be a brilliant opportunity for the teenager, they also see him playing an important role for them between now and the end of the season."

Fred gives verdict on his United nickname
Fred is enjoying life at United. The Brazilian international might not be playing as much as he would have hoped, but he continues to be a key part of the first-team squad under Erik ten Hag.
He has only started two of United's last 10 matches and was brought off the bench again against Brighton & Hove Albion in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final win over Brighton.

OPINION: United have already shown Kane what he's missing this season
"The reality is this version of Tottenham don't deserve Harry Kane. It is time he put his own career before that of his team and tried to win a trophy. Even if Kane refuses to sign a new deal, Spurs could take the chance of letting him run down his contract, but in 12 months' time his options will be even thinner. If United don't land Kane this summer, they will move on."

Weghorst admits March regret
United ace Wout Weghorst admits that he felt slightly sorry for Brighton & Hove Albion winger Solly March after he missed a key penalty in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
Following a goalless 120 minutes, the contest went to a penalty shootout and United won 7-6, thanks to Victor Lindelof scoring the final kick. March had blazed over moments before, with Weghorst's antics beforehand being accused of putting him off.

Bayern 'weighing up' player-plus-cash deal for United target Osimhen
Accoridng to Sky Germany, as cited by the Express, Bayern Munich are 'weighing up' the prospect of offering Napoli Sadio Mane and cash in a swap deal for United target Victor Osimhen.
The Nigerian striker has been in prolific form for the Italian club this season, resulting in several big-name European giants being interested in his signature. United earmarked him as a target as far back as November.
However, it is claimed that Bayern are preparing their first move for the forward and are ready to offer them former Liverpool ace Mane as part of a package.
