Chris Sutton selects Celtic dream team as Larsson and Moravcik lead star-studded line-up
The former Celtic striker has given his view on the best players he played with at Parkhead.

Chris Sutton had a glittering career at Celtic and played with some of the clubs greatest players during Martin O'Neill spell as manager.
Ahead of the Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers at Hampden on Sunday afternoon the former Celtic frontman has named the best eleven he played with in the famous green and white hoops. Sutton signed for Celtic in 2000 for around £6million following an unsuccessful spell at Chelsea where he arrived from Blackburn Rovers after their relegation. Despite a poor spell at Stamford Bridge he found his scoring touch once again and eventually after six years in the east end of Glasgow managed to lift eight trophies.
During his time at Parkhead he was also part of the team that made a memorable run to the UEFA Cup final where O'Neill's side were eventually beaten 3-2 to Jose Mourinho's Porto side in extra time. Speaking on the Overlap podcast, Sutton named his Celtic dream team which includes some legends like Henrik Larsson and Neil Lennon.

Artur Boruc
Chris Sutton only played with Artur Boruc for one season at Celtic but it is clear the Polish keeper made a huge impression on him. Boruc kept hold of the number one jersey throughout his time in Glasgow so it is no wonder he makes the list.

Johan Mjällby was signed by Slovak head coach Jozef Vengloš in 1998 and went onto have a successful six-year spell at Celtic. He was a rock at the back and established a great relationship with Joos Valgaeren and Bobo Balde under Martin O'Neill at the turn of the century.

Bobo Balde's physical presence at the back for Martin O'Neill's side during the 2000s was pivotal to their success on the park. His eight years at Parkhead were very successful with ten trophies collected in that time. The one blot on his time at Celtic was being sent off in the UEFA Cup Final.

Jackie McNamara's career at Celtic started well with him being a mainstay in the team, however the arrival of Martin O'Neill and a three at the back formation left him on the fringes. He eventually made his way back into the team and won the Scottish Writers' player of the year in 2004 beating Larsson and Sutton to the prize.

Neil Lennon's playing and managerial careers at Celtic point towards one thing - trophies. During his days on the pitch between 2000 and 2007 he picked up 11 trophies. He was the midfield general that allowed the more flair players to strut their stuff.
