Marc Becci, also known as Sketch to his friends, passed away following the Jags' 2-2 draw at Stark's Park, the last game of the 2022/23 Championship season.
Thistle posted a heartfelt message on social media last night to confirm the tragic news.

"The thoughts of all connected with Thistle are with Marc's family and friends."
Replying to their rival's tweet, Raith Rovers commented: "We are so sorry to hear about this. Our thoughts are with Marc’s friends and family, as well as everyone at Partick Thistle at this incredibly sad time."

While a sixth said: "Truly awful news, my thoughts are with friends and family of Marc."
The stalemate in Kirkcaldy means that Partick Thistle have a play-off spot and still have a shot at promotion after Dundee won the title following their eight-goal thriller with Queens Park on Friday night.
The Jags will face their fellow Glasgow rivals in the quarter-final and the winner will take on second-placed Ayr United in semi.
It's still unclear who the winner of that round will face though as there's still four matches remaining for the teams in the bottom half of the Premiership split.
Meanwhile, Cove Rangers have been relegated from the Championship and will return to League One next season following their 2-1 defeat to Morton.
