Grant Savoury OUT of Queen's Park do or die Partick Thistle play off crunch as Spiders dealt hammer injury blow
The attacker limped off in the 4-3 loss to the Jags and misses the return a Ochilview.
Queen's Park have been dealt a major play-off blow as star man Grant Savoury is out of Friday night’s clash with Partick Thistle.
The attacker went off injured in the first-leg at Firhill on Tuesday and will now miss the home clash. Fears are that Savoury - who has been nominated for the PFA Championship player of the season - now looks set to be sidelined for several weeks and his season now looks over. It is a major blow for Owen Coyle’s side who are trying to overturn their 4-3 first-leg defeat.
The winners will then take on Ayr United for a place in the play-off final. Coyle now has a major decision to make and it could mean recalls for either Josh McPake or Euan Henderson. The pair, who are on-loan from Rangers and Hearts, respectively, have struggled in recent months to make a real impact with Coyle’s promotion chasers.
