Cardiff City next manager odds as Nathan Jones the early favourite and Swansea City's Russell Martin a surprise contender
The latest manager odds for Cardiff City after Sabri Lamouchi's departure
Nathan Jones has been installed as the early favourite to succeed Sabri Lamouchi at Cardiff City.
The Bluebirds are on the lookout for their third manager in six months after they released a statement confirming Lamouchi would depart upon the expiration of his contract next month.
And lifelong Cardiff fan Jones, who has been hailed for his work at Luton Town but failed at bigger clubs Stoke City and Southampton, is the bookmakers' favourite to take the reins.

Jones, from the Rhondda, took Luton from League Two to the Championship, but has struggled elsewhere. His most recent stint with the Hatters earned him a job at Premier League Southampton, but his disastrous stint lasted just four months.
Perhaps surprisingly, Swansea City boss Russell Martin is installed as an early second-favourite alongside ex-Bluebirds and Huddersfield Town manager Neil Warnock. Martin is also being heavily linked with the Leicester job should the Foxes fall out of the Premier League.
Chris Wilder, who had been linked strongly with the Reading job, is next along side ex-Blackpool and QPR manager Neil Critchley at 12/1. Lee Bowyer is at 14/1.
Former Leeds United bosses Javi Gracia and Jesse Marsch, as well as Slaven Bilic and Steven Gerrard, are priced at 16/1.
