Thanks for your company everyone. Goodbye!
I think they've cleared that up. There were a lot of players involved and a lot of police. Hopefully there are no causalities.
The Hammers fans are now celebrating with their fans, and rightly so. They deserve this.
It's looking a little bit ugly now here with some of the home fans trying to fight the away supporters. Some of the players are getting involved, including Declan Rice and Aaron Cresswell.
This is not good.
90 +7min: That's it!
CHAOS IN HOLLAND!
Alkmaar throw everyone forwards and Fornals weaves his way to a one-on-one opportunity with Ryan. A fantastic finish and that's all.
Everyone is on the pitch. West Ham have done it!
90 +5min: Ings and Rice do well to keep the ball up field. Alkmaar recover it. But Paqueta gets it back and dashes to the corner flag. Bowen then runs the ball to the other.
60 seconds remain.
GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL!
90 +2min: Five minutes added on.
Alkmaar come forward. There are 11 black shirts between the ball and the West Ham goal
89min: We've got a VAR check here. The ball's hit Zouma'a hand as the defender falls, with Areola dropping a cross.
A lengthy check, to be honest. But we're fine. Forever blowing bubbles can be heard in the crowd.
86min: Ings is on for Antonio and Alkmaar have swapped Kerkez for De Wit and Karlsson for Meerdink.
The seconds are ticking away now. Bowen almost gets on the end of Ings' cutback!
84min: West Ham have the ball in the net via a corner but the referee says it has to be taken again. Ryan punches this time, and there's pinball in the box. And Aguerd should score! But it's wide.
80min: Another change for the hosts as Lahdo comes on for van Brederode.
Clasie shoots over. Alkmaar are pushing but the clear cut chances are limited.
76min: Incredible chance for Bowen as he wins it high up the pitch but he can't beat Ryan and Almkaar gather.
Fornals comes on for Benrahma.
73min: A first change of the game, with De Wit on for Mijnans.
A fantastic cross from Sugawara and Pavlidis almost gets on the end of it, though he's offside anyway. West Ham are briefing Pablo Fornals.
69 mins: Areola has to save from Hatzidiakos, but he does just that.
Just over 20 minutes to go.
65min: Kehrer is about to take a long throw and is booked for time wasting.
The throw, when it comes in, is headed away. So is the next.
63min: A yellow card for Soucek, the first of the game.
Pavlidis then makes his way into the box and gets an effort away and Areola saves. The flag is up anyway.
59min: Good save from Ryan, as he palms Rice's effort round the post.
Pavlidis hits the deck under challenge from Aguerd, and it looks close. He wants a penalty... but we're carrying on. Close that.
55min: Antonio does well to hold the ball up and wins a throw. Kehrer launches it in, and it bounces, but Ryan gathers.
Chance then for Alkmaar on the break as Reijnders tries to feed Pavlidis - think De Bruyne to Haaland - but the pass his heavy and Areola gathers.
52min: Effort on the rebound from Mijnans and Areola gathers easily.
It feels like the hosts are taking a few more risks at the start of this half, which they need to do.
Corner. Cleared.
49min: Great play from Alkmaar as Kerkez gets in down the left and fires a low cross across the face of goal.
They're dominating the ball early on here again.
46': We're back underway. No changes at the break.
Some more snaps from the first half.
The Hammers are three quarters of the way there in the tie, and half way there on the night.
Alkmaar have offered almost nothing, showing no urgency and not looking like the side trailing here.
They're yet to have a shot on target and West Ham have been more than comfortable, with David Moyes' side close to opening the scoring themselves.
A big 45 to go, however.
45min: Another good break from West Ham and it ends up with Paqueta firing over.
We're into stoppage time now. No we're not, nothing added on.
42min: Finally a chance of sorts! Ball in from the left and it ends up being fired across goal before Rice blocks an effort from Sugawara.
Corner comes in an Areola catches it.
38min: Rice concedes a corner and I'm almost willing on Alkmaar on here. They have been so boring to watch. No offence.
Nothing. Back to their possession.
35min: Antonio feeds Soucek on the right and the midfielder tries to pull it back across goal but Ryan gathers.
Slow going in this one with Alkmaar dominating possession but not really creating anything at all.
31min: Benrahma now with a great chance as Rice gives him the ball in space. He shoots, but it's miles over the bar.
They've been the better side, but are yet to grab that goal.
26min: West Ham are so, so direct in their attacking play.
Antonio drops deep, wins the ball and drives forwards. He feeds Paqueta this time, who cuts inside his defender and curls with his left foot, but the ball hits the outside of the post!
So close to the lead being doubled.
23min: Paqueta counters and tries to feed Antonio. He has options left and right, but the pass is wrong and goes out of play.
Pavlidis then nearly gets on the end of a cross before Paqueta looks for Antonio again but gets it wrong again.
18min: Benrahma's clearance is awful and lands almost on his own crossbar, but Areola catches. Alkmaar enjoying a lot of possession, but not really creating too much, similar to what we saw last week.
Kehrer's cross is nearly all the way through and then Bowen fires wide. best chance of the game so far.
14min: Alkmaar win a corner but Karlsson's eventual cross goes out of play.
Antonio now to hurl a long throw into the box. Nope, it's short... Cresswell's cross is cleared. Benrahma's cross is then out for a goal kick. Chance wasted.
11min: Alkmaar haven't lost a European home game in over 20 matches, so this won't be easy for West Ham. The atmosphere is great, too.
Good play between Bowen and Paqueta n the middle of the pitch but Kehrer's cross is cleared. The Hammers now starting to enjoy a bit more possession.
8min: Benrahma has hi first sniff down the left but he's ushered out by an Alkmaar defender and the hosts regain possession.
West Ham are happy to sit in again at the minute. Benrahma's cross is caught by Ryan.
4min: A good start from the hosts, with Reijnders' early effort blocked before the corner is headed clear.
Karlsson is then in behind but the assistant's flag is up. A good start from Alkmaar.
1min: We are underway.
The teams are on their ways out in Holland.
The warm-ups are complete at the AFAS Stadium and so is the time for talking.
Do or die now for West Ham.
Former West Ham captain Mark Noble has been speaking ahead of the match on BT Sport.
'No we didn't expect it but we're delighted,' he said. 'The way we played in Europe this season we deserve to be here.
'Our league form isn't great but we have enough points on the board to enjoy these games. Last week we rested players for Brentford, not the result we wanted but we come here with the lead.'
'In truth, I've enjoyed this run because there's less pressure for myself. You get to enjoy the games. Last year was sad but hopefully we can go to the next step tonight. The fans have stuck by us. Hopefully, they can enjoy these occasions.
Dan Matthews is our man in the ground this evening, and he'll be filing at full time.
It looks calm right now. But there will be chaos in half hour's time, no doubt.
A few snaps from inside the West Ham dressing room in Holland.
It's such a big night for the Hammers. A real chance to bounce back from last year's Europa League semi-final heartbreak.
A spot in a European final.
It will be a game against either Basel or Fiorentina in the final, with Basel leading 2-1 from the first leg.
It would be West Ham's first European final since 1976.
The Alkmaar fans have been busy...
Supporters were eager to disrupt West Ham's preparations for the game by setting off fireworks outside the hotel.
However, footage of the incident has shown one fan being hit by a firework during the colourful and noisy display.
More below.
A few snaps for you as West Ham arrive at the AFAS Stadium.
They look calm. Kick-off is an hour away.
Two changes for the hosts form the first leg in London, with Kerkez and Karlsson replacing De Wit and Odgaard. The latter, we are told, misses out with an ankle injury.
For West Ham, they are unchanged from the first leg. No problems for David Moyes.
One wonders if they will adopt the style of the last week's first or second half here.
Areola, Kehrer, Zouma, Aguerd, Cresswell, Rice, Soucek, Paqueta, Benrahma, Bowen, Antonio.
Subs: Fabianski, Anang, Johnson, Coufal, Fornals, Lanzini, Downes, Cornet, Ings, Ogbonna, Emerson, Mubama
Ryan, Sugawara, Beukema, Hatzidiakos, Kerkez, Clasie, Mijnans, Reijnders, Van Brederode, Karlsson, Pavlidis.
Subs: Verhulst, Deen, D De WIt, Mihailovic, Lahdo, Bazoer, Vanheusden, Buurmeester, M De Wit, Meerdink, Goes.
So the tie stands at 2-1 to West Ham but AZ Alkmaar won't be totally disappointed with that, showing their quality at times in the first leg.
They controlled the majority of the first leg at the London Stadium last week as West Ham sat off them, but, when the Hammers turned it on, they improved in the second half and took the win.
It's always a major advantage playing at home in the second leg, I reckon. If they can get an early goal they may well be favourites.
Team news is a few minutes away.
