Phil Neville launches foul-mouthed tirade at reporter after Inter Miami defeat
WARNING EXPLICIT LANGUAGE: Phil Neville is used to his Inter Miami side going through some very rough patches of form, but the former England's Lionesses' boss was even angrier than usual
Phil Neville launched a foul-mouthed tirade at a reporter after Inter Miami suffered a chastening 3-1 home defeat to Orlando Pride.
Neville has endured many set-backs since taking over the reins of David Beckham's franchise in 2021. The former England Lionesses manager's latest setback was inflicted by goals from Ercan Kara, Martin Ojeda and Rafael Santos.
After a recent positive run which saw Miami win three MLS matches in a row, two of which being secured after going down to ten men, his side have lost back-to-back games again. And his temper overflowed during his post-match press conference:

Neville began answering a question put to him though as he started choosing his words, a reporter decided to add something else, leaving the former Manchester United and Everton defender incensed.
“Can I finish speaking,” he yelled, while giving a very angry look to the reporter. “Or are you going to interrupt?

“Can I finish speaking? Okay? I don’t interrupt your questions. Okay, so don’t interrupt mine! Show some f***ing respect.” After he firmly made his point, Neville tried to compose himself and formulate an answer to the question.
Unfortunately, he was so consumed with frustration, his memory went completely blank. “So, sorry for the language," he said to the slightly startled pack of reporters.
"The…in the…sorry what was the question, please? Ask me the question again, please?" Their result against the Florida giants means they are only two points above rock-bottom side Toronto in the Eastern Conference.
Neville has seen his side lose 41 of 87 matches ever since he was appointed by his former team-mate. He, and perhaps, all other reporters deployed to the DRV PNK Stadium, will hope this turns around very soon.
