Gary Cahill: I would "relish" working under Jose Mourinho

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill admits that he would love to work under Jose Mourinho should he return to the club this summer.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has admitted that he would "relish" working under Jose Mourinho if he returned to Stamford Bridge.

The Portuguese will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, adding further fuel to the fire that the 50-year-old will return to the Blues.

Cahill told Sky Sports News: "I know that he is held in high esteem here, the lads speak highly of him, everyone speaks highly of him, so he must have something about him.

"Any player would relish working under somebody like that and look forward to it. If it is that, we don't know, but I'm sure every player would like to work under somebody like that."

Chelsea are currently on a post-season tour of the USA, where they will face Manchester City in two friendly games.
