Emotional moment when Martin O’Neill led Celtic’s two-in-a-row heroes to SPFL trophy and into Parkhead

IT'S the moment Hoops fans have all been waiting for - and it was delivered by a living Celtic legend.
The SPFL Premiership trophy is in Parkhead - and it's wearing green and white ribbons.
Fans have been queuing for hours to welcome the team and title to Celtic Park on a special day for the club.
It's their 11th title in 12 years and it was hailed by the expectant crowd just as much as Ange Postecoglou, Callum McGregor and co as they stepped off the team bus onto Celtic Way for the final time in season 2022-23.
The roar may have been for the sight of the silverware - but there was added oomph for the man carrying it - treble-winning manager Martin O'Neill.
His feat could be equalled by his latest successor Ange Postecoglou next week when Celtic face Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Hampden - but today is all about the league trophy.

It marks a long campaign where the Hoops marched to a 13-game winning streak and an even longer stretch without a defeat.
The wheels may have come off a little with recent results since the title was mathematically certain - but try wiping the smile off the face of anyone with a Celtic persuasion this afternoon.
O'Neill welcomed the squad off the bus and posed for pictures before he and the trophy led the short procession to the stadium's main door.
The boss and captain were next followed by the full matchday squad.

Ange Postecoglou has named a strong line-up to see off the season in preparation for next week's Hampden date.
Yuki Kobayashi is NOT in the squad, and neither is the suspended Daizen Maeda.
Tomoki Iwata starts as does Matt O'Riley with Liel Abada also lining up in attack.
But the big news is the return of Alistair Johnston who is back fit in time to face the Highlanders following his injury.
The Hoops are still, of course without the injured Cameron Carter-Vickers for the season-ender and Cup Final.
Aberdeen are the guests this afternoon and they too are celebrating having snatched third place from under the noses of Hearts earlier in the week - and so securing a £5m Europa League bounty.
