Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford reacts to Usain Bolt using his celebration at Soccer Aid
The 100-metres world record holder pulled out Rashford's now trademark Manchester United celebration
Marcus Rashford has given his nod of approval to Olympic great Usain Bolt after the Jamaican superstar replicated his celebration at Soccer Aid on Sunday.
Bolt managed to break the deadlock for the World XI against England when he slotted past former Liverpool and Portsmouth goalkeeper David James after 24 minutes.
Bolt, an avid Manchester United fan, jogged over to the corner of Old Trafford before using a celebration Rashford has so often used this season, pointing his finger to his head. Rashford has now acknowledged the gesture and reacted to the moment online.
Taking to Twitter, the striker wrote: ‘Rash X Bolt’ along with a series of emojis including a lightning bolt and a finger pointing to a head. The World XI went on to win this year’s Soccer Aid 4-2.

Rashford, meanwhile, is gearing up for England duty ahead of Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia this weekend. The attacker has not featured for his country since the World Cup after missing March’s internationals through injury.
The 25-year-old netted three times in Qatar before ending the domestic season on a career-high 30 goals for United, becoming the first Reds player to do so since Robin van Persie a decade ago.
His performances led to him picking up United’s Player of the Season award, marking an epic turnaround within the last 12 months, and he believes Erik ten Hag has played a huge role in his resurgence.
"I think he's come in with a clear identity and a clear plan of how he wanted to play and after training with him, you learn quickly because he's very clear on what he wants you to do,” he told the BBC ahead of the FA Cup final.
"I think as a No.9 I'm playing much better now. I used to feel like on the left I've always got goals in me and I can create an opportunity on the left and then sometimes when I'm in the middle, I feel like I'm trying too hard to get on the ball.
"A lot of work has been put into just hold your positions, play a bit more with the defenders."
