Premier League admirers of Japanese sensation Keito Nakamura are facing overseas competition for the LASK attacking midfielder.
The 22 year-old has caught the eye of Liverpool, Aston Villa and newly-promoted Burnley after shining in Austria’s top division and emerging as one of the league’s standout players.
Nakamura scored 14 goals and set up seven more in 36 appearances, helping LASK qualify for the Europa League and sparking growing interest.
As well as clubs in England, German sides Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Monchengladbach, French teams Lille, Reims and Lyon plus Dutch outfit Feyenoord all have Nakamura in their sights.

Keito Nakamura scored 17 goals for LASK last season and has now broken into the Japan side

Aston Villa and Liverpool are both keen on the 22-year-old, with the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Feyenoord also in the hunt
As well as attacking midfield Nakamura can also be deployed as a left-winger.
The World Cup in Qatar came just too soon for Nakamura but he has since broken into Japan’s senior squad, making his debut in March against Uruguay and his second appearance against El Salvador today [Thursday], opening his account for his country in a 6-0 win.
Nakamura is now expected to leave LASK this summer.
And as well as his elevation to becoming a full international, Wednesday’s loosening of the GBE criteria for foreign players coming to England has improved his hopes of being able to secure a move to the Premier League should any of his suitors firm up their interest.
