- There is just one year left on the out-of-favour centre-back's contract at Spurs
Davinson Sanchez has decided to leave Tottenham Hotspur for an opportunity to play in another league, according to a new report.
The Colombian centre-back has made over 200 appearances for Spurs since joining the club in 2017.
But the 27-year-old has failed to properly fit in at the club, and slid down the pecking order at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, making just eight Premier League starts for the club.
Now Colombian reporter Pipe Sierra has said that Sanchez has decided not to continue at Tottenham, despite the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as manager.
The player's agents are set to hold talks with Spurs to discuss an exit strategy, with the plan to sell him on, as he has one year left on his contract.

The Colombian centre-back was booed by Spurs supporters during their Bournemouth clash
While Sanchez has attracted Premier League interest, the Colombian fancies a foreign challenge after six years of service to Tottenham.
Mail Sport previously reported that Sanchez was one of seven possible departures touted for Spurs this summer, as the club revamps under Postecoglou, and having failed to qualify for European football.
Before joining Tottenham, Sanchez played in Colombia for Atletico Nacional, and for Dutch club Ajax, so there are many countries where he has not played.
It is a disappointing end to Sanchez's career in top-flight English football, with the centre-back facing backlash from both Spurs fans and pundits.

Spurs face a tricky start to their Premier League campaign under new boss Ange Postecoglou
He was booed by Tottenham supporters when he came on as a first-half substitute against Bournemouth in April - and received the same reaction when he was taken off after the break.
TalkSPORT's Gabby Agbonlahor named the 27-year-old in his team of Premier League flops for the 2022-23 season, stating: 'Every game I've watched him, he's had a mistake.
'I've been in here with [fellow pundit] Jamie O'Hara and he's nearly crying, real tears, of how bad Sanchez has been. Mistake dot com.'
Tottenham face a tricky league start under Postecoglou, with Thursday's fixture list revealing a trip to London rivals Brentford will be quickly followed up by a home match against Manchester United.
