Hibs snap up international goalkeeper as Easter Road boss Lee Johnson hails key addition to squad

HIBS have brought in Ghana star Jojo Wollacott to provide competition for veteran David Marshall.
And boss Lee Johnson remains in the market for another keeper with Max Boruc close to agreeing a deal.
Woolacott, capped 11 times for the Black Stars, has agreed a three-year deal after League One Charlton accepted a bid from the Edinburgh club.
And Johnson, who previously worked with the 26-year-old at Bristol City, believes he’ll bring real quality to his Easter Road squad.
He said: “We’re delighted to bring Jojo to the Club and I’m looking forward to working with him again.
“He’s a player I’ve known for some time and it’s great to see that he’s starting to fulfil his potential. “He now has over 100 games under his belt and has played on the international stage with Ghana.

“He’s an athletic, brave, and confident goalkeeper, and with big competitions coming up it’s important we’re strong in the goalkeeping department.”
Wollacott is Johnson’s second signing in as many days with free agent Jordan Obita signing on Thursday.
