Manchester City are reportedly keen on bringing PSG right-back Achraf Hakimi to the Etihad this summer and are prepared to pay big money to secure his signature.
The 24-year-old has been identified as the perfect replacement for Kyle Walker as Pep Guardiola bids to set his side up for a future defence of the three major honours their spectacularly claimed last season.
Walker, who has one-year remaining on his deal in Manchester, looks set to join German champions Bayern Munich this summer.
As a result, the Citizens are in the market for a successor and have landed on the equally speedy Hakimi, according to Spanish outlet Marca.
The Moroccan international was sensational in his side's historic run to the World Cup semi-finals in Qatar and has been seen as one of the best full-backs in world football over the past five years.

Achraf Hakimi has won two Ligue 1 titles since moving to PSG from inter Milan in 2021

The defender was named in FIFPRO World 11 alongside team-mate and friend Kylian Mbappe
Born in Madrid, Hakimi came through the Spanish giants' academy before making nine appearances following his debut in 2017. A two-year breakout loan spell with Borussia Dortmund followed, where the attacking full-back registered an impressive 12 goals and 17 assists from 73 games.
Inter Milan acquired his services in 2020 ahead of a big money move to the Parisians worth around £60m the next season.
In the French capital the Moroccan has continued to impress and has enjoyed a productive on-pitch partnership with Kylian Mbappe, as well as a friendship with his fellow superstar off it.
It's therefore little surprise that as Mbappe seeks to pursue pastures new, Hakimi is set to become the latest high-profile name agitating for a move away from Paris.
According Mundo Deportivo, the defender is ‘not comfortable’ at the club, whose environment and atmosphere have left him seeking a route out.
City would unquestionably be an attractive proposition for the former Dortmund and Inter defender, but he is believed to prefer a return to Madrid alongside his current team-mate Mbappe.

Hakimi could be set to replace Kyle Walker at the Etihad, who is reportedly close to leaving
Hakimi’s acquisition would be the second such deal to replace an ageing star after the anticipated completion of a £25m transfer for Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic, who is set to fill the boots of Barcelona-bound Ilkay Gundogan.
The City captain is expected to complete a two-year deal with the Spanish club when his contract at the Etihad expires next month, bringing an end to his trophy-laden seven-year spell in Manchester.
The European champions also threw their hat into the ring for Declan Rice this week and are set to go head-to-head with Arsenal for the West Ham skipper’s signature.
Guardiola's side have seemingly snuck in to hijack the Gunners' proposed deal after the London outfit saw two bids rejected for in-demand Englishman.
