According to Spanish news outlet El Confidencial, Torres' gym chain had been making profits of up to £86,000.

However Spain's government and Madrid council introduced robust safety measures to counteract the pandemic, something which had a huge impact on his figures.

As a result, the gym chain's profits went from a sizable profit to a £172,000 loss the following year.

This has led Torres to allege that the government's restrictions were 'disproportionate and intense', while seeking a reimbursement of £687,000.
