Michael Beale is preparing for the second stage of his Rangers clear out as Antonio Colak and Robby McCrorie head for the Ibrox exit.

Striker Colak is being line up for a £2.5million switch to Italian outfit Parma while Beale has reluctantly agreed to let back-up keeper McCrorie leave if a suitable bid materialises. Beale - who has already made seven signings this summer - began clearing space in his bloated squad at the end of last season when he allowed out-of-contract stars Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield, Allan McGregor and Filip Helander to leave.

But with 32 first-team players still on the books, the Londoner knows he needs to trim it back further and raise funds if he wants to push through with a move for Feyenoord ace Danilo. And Colak - who joined Gers last summer in a £1.8million move from Greek side PAOK - is next to go. A red-hot start saw him net 13 goals in his first 18 games for former boss Gio van Bronckhorst but despite that he never looked convincing as the spear-head to Gers’ attack.

He finished the campaign with 18 strikes from 39 appearances but according to Italian sources is now being lined up for a switch to Serie B outfit Parma. McCrorie is also looking to move on just 10 months after signing a new deal tying him to Ibrox until 2025.

But the arrival of former England shot-stopper Jack Butland on a megabucks deal has forced the 25-year-old into the realisation that he’s destined to be stuck on the bench again when the new season starts next month.

Having decided he can wait in the Ibrox shadows no longer, McCrorie - who joined Gers with twin brother Ross when they were just eight - has now got his wish for a move after honest discussions with Beale.

The gaffer had hoped to keep the academy graduate on board but has now agreed he will be allowed to leave before September’s transfer deadline so long as an acceptable bid materialises.
