UD Las Palmas reportedly interested in the Mexican player

Julian Araujo, along with Nico, could be one of the next players to leave in the coming days.

According to 'Relevo', Barça and UD Las Palmas are negotiating the loan of the Mexican player who is yet to make his official debut with the Blaugrana team as he could not be registered. With the negotiations being at an advanced stage, he might not be part of the preseason tour. His debut will have to wait for another season.

Barça have been testing Araujo during training and but it was unlikely that he would get a lot of first-team minutes under Xavi Hernández. He is still seen as one for the future but who still needs acclimatization to European soccer.

Barça have been listening to proposals and in the end, the Canary Islands team could be the one to loan out the player, without any purchase option.

Barça plan to sell Sergiño Dest this window but there is a consensus at the club that a natural right-back should be signed. There are several options on the table and everything will depend on the price.
