What channel is Yokohama vs Celtic? Live stream, kick-off and TV details as the Scottish champs begin Japan tour

Brendan Rodgers side kick off their trip to Asia against Ange Postecoglou's former side.

Who will shine brightest in the Land of the Rising Sun?

Brendan Rodgers is about to find out as Celtic get their tour of Japan under way for real with their first pre-season friendly in Asia. Ange Postecoglou’s old club Yokohama F Marinos are the opposition and will prove a test for the Hoops. Until now all Celtic fans’ eyes have been on transfers given the blackouts when their idols twice played in Portugal. And given this game will be streamed, it's the first chance for fans to catch a glimpse of the Irishman's second coming. And of course the locals will be able to again clap eyes on the likes of Kyogo, Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda rise to superstardom in their homeland, while Tomoki Iwata and Yuki Kobayashi will look to make an impression on the fans and the new boss.

The Hoops last visited the home of Yokohama during Shunsuke Nakamura's time at the club in 2006, but they'll hope for a better result this time after suffering a 3-0 defeat. And with Gamba Osaka just around the corner Rodgers will hope to build some early momentum for the Scottish Premiership champions during the tour.
