The clip contains footage of him showing off his skills as a kid, gradually getting older to show his entire illustrious career.
Silva said: "Today is a sad day, it is time to say goodbye to what I have dedicated my whole life to.
"It is time today goodbye to my colleagues, who are like family to me."
He thanked every club he played for such as San Fernando, Valencia, Eibar and Celta Vigo.
Having signed a contract extension in May, Silva's deal ran through to the end of the coming season but he has ripped it up.
