Alex Telles set for Cristiano Ronaldo reunion as Manchester United confirm transfer
The Brazilian left-back had one year left on his contract at Man United and was deemed surplus to requirements by Erik ten Hag and has joined Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr

Manchester United have confirmed the sale of Alex Telles, who joins Al-Nassr in a permanent deal.
The left-back did not return for training along with Eric Bailly with United desperate to move the pair on. The Brazilian, who made 50, first-team appearances at Old Trafford, spent last year on loan at Sevilla.
Telles joined for an initial £13.6m on deadline day from Porto in October 2020 but was deemed surplus when Tyrell Malacia became Erik Ten Hag's first signing last summer.
He has now become the latest player to move to the Saudi Pro League, linking up with former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr. United will receive a fee in the region of £6million for the deal.

Telles had one year left on his contract at United and the club were keen to recoup a fee for him. United have Luke Shaw, Malacia and Alvaro Fernandez competing for minutes at left-back, making the 30-year-old dispensable.
With concerns around Financial Fair Play, United need to raise funds through player trading this summer. This sale comes as a welcome boost, adding to their transfer kitty and clearing his wages from the club.
A club statement said: "Alex Telles has completed a permanent move from Manchester United to Al-Nassr. The 30-year-old full-back has joined the Saudi Premier League outfit following 50 first-team appearances for the Reds.
"Telles signed for United from FC Porto in October 2020 and the Brazil international competed with Luke Shaw for the left-back position over the next two seasons, memorably scoring a brilliant goal - his only strike for us - in the 2-1 Champions League victory over Villarreal in September 2021.
"He spent the 2022/23 season on loan with Sevilla, winning the Europa League title, and now joins up with former Reds team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia. We'd like to thank Alex for his contributions to the club over the last three years and would like to wish him all the best for the future."
