According to the i, Everton are aware of interest in striker Dominc Calvert-Lewin but have intention of loaning out one of their key strikers.

A source said he is 'very much part of the club's plans' following AS Roma's interest in a loan with an obligation to buy.

Everton are 'ready to accept' offers for Demarai Gray amid transfer interest in the winger.

Stanley Mills future

Everton youngster Stanley Mills is in talks with Oxford United over a loan move.

The ECHO understands that Mills, the son of former England full-back Danny Mills, has been given the green light by the Blues to speak with the League One club about spending the upcoming campaign at the Kassam Stadium.

Mills, who joined Everton at the age of 14 after spending time at Leeds United, scored 14 times and claimed 14 assists in 21 appearances for the club’s under-21 side last season. The attacking midfielder was also a frequent member of Sean Dyche’s senior matchday squad during the second half of the campaign after featuring twice in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season.

Previously, the 19-year-old was called into Everton's first-team squad for the pre-season tour to the USA in July 2022 and featured in matches against Arsenal and Minnesota United before playing in friendlies back in England against Blackpool and Dynamo Kyiv.

Everton 'in pole position' for Gnonto

Everton are claimed to be 'in pole position' to sign Leeds forward, Wilfried Gnonto.

The Italian star has been heavily linked with a move to the Blues of late, though other clubs have also been linked with the player.

A latest update on the situation from Football Insider has made clear Everton are leading the race to recruit Gnonto despite interest from Napoli, who must 'raise money' before they are in a position to sanction a deal.

Calvert-Lewin claim

AS Roma have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The Everton striker has endured an injury-hit two years, preventing him from starring on a regular basis in the first team, and will be hoping to stay fit ahead of the coming campaign.

Despite hardly featuring for Everton in 2022/23, Corriere dello Sport have stated Calvert-Lewin has been 'proposed' to the Italian club.

The article adds Roma would not be willing to immediately pay for the forward, instead favouring a loan with an option to purchase at the end of this period.

Tom Davies interest

Tom Davies is attracting interest from a number of clubs following his release from Everton.

The English midfielder is yet to decide on his next move after leaving the Blues, though appears to have no shortage of suitors as he weighs up his next step in the game.

According to the Telegraph, clubs from the Bundesliga, Serie A and Premier League are in the race to secure his services.

Lewis Warrington latest

Plymouth Argyle are in talks with Everton over a move for Lewis Warrington.

The Championship side is seeking a loan move for the 20-year-old, who came on in the second half of his club’s pre-season friendly at Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday.

The starlet has been acquiring experience at increasingly high levels over the past 18 months - spending half a season in League Two with Tranmere Rovers and then all of the most recent campaign in League One at Fleetwood Town.

The departure of Tom Davies from the club has opened a spot in the first team squad for a central midfielder to emerge and Warrington has been under consideration for that role - starting the friendly against Stade Nyonnais in Switzerland earlier this month.

Latest on El Bilal Toure

Italian website Tutto Mercato believe El Bilal Toure has now agreed personal terms with Atalanta ahead of a €30 million (€27m + €3m add-ons) transfer.

They report the Malian will sign a four-year deal with the Italian club, worth €1.5 million -per-season.

Last night it emerged Everton had agreed the same fee for the Almeria striker, though Atalanta rapidly moved ahead in negotiations.

Sean Dyche is quietly shaping new attack plan on top of three Everton threats

Everton are creating chances.

They may be up against Football League opposition. And they may be fielding experimental line-ups as the squad remains imbalanced due to the timing of returns from international action.

They are also struggling in an all too familiar area - finishing the opportunities they are creating. I will come back to that.

But from the three games of pre-season so far they appear to at least be making goal scoring opportunities and are doing so in an intelligent, cohesive way that might provide a template for the returning the senior players to slot into.
