Kamara and Sakala given Rangers transfer green lights as exit talks confirmed over frozen-out pair
Kamara and Sakala have been linked with moves away and Michael Beale has confirmed they won't be involved on Saturday.
Fashion Sakala and Glen Kamara have been given the green light to leave Rangers with Michael Beale confirming they WON'T be involved against Kilmarnock as the duo discuss transfers.
Beale landed Jose Cifuentes as his ninth signing of the summer and there's been a huge overhaul at Ibrox with the same number of first-team players leaving so far. Sam Lammers, Danilo, Adballah Sima and Cyriel Dessers will form a new-look forward line and Beale is excited about how his squad is shaping up.
Beale told Sky Sports: "We're delighted. In the forward areas, we've lost Malik Tillman, Kent, Morelos and Colak and possibly Fashion Sakala in the coming days. We've replaced them with the four guys coming in, so we're actually a man less.
"But really excited with the new players and the energy, motivation and quality that they bring. We're looking forward to getting started for real tomorrow."
Two players who have been linked heavily with an exit though are Sakala and Kamara and Beale confirmed they are away from the squad discussing moves, with the Zambian confirmed to be speaking with a Saudi side. Neither will be involved in their Premiership opener on Saturday.
"There's been an interest in a few and you can see our squad is a big squad. So far we've had a player come in for every player that left but we've wanted to trim the squad so expect two or three more to go out. Kamara and Sakala are away from the squad just now discussing some things so there might be some movement in the coming days. They won't be involved tomorrow. Other than that, everyone is ready to go."
