Aston Villa are reportedly open to selling young striker Cameron Archer - but only under specific conditions.
The 21-year-old is not part of Unai Emery's plans this season, it seems, but is nevertheless regarded as one for the future. He has spent time on loan during the last three years and impressed for the likes of Solihull Moors, Preston North End and Middlesbrough. In doing so, he has caught the eye of several clubs with his goalscoring exploits having recently helped England to achieve European U21 Championship success.
According to The Sun's Alan Nixon, Villa are open to selling Archer this summer, but only in a potential buy back deal - similar to the terms of Aaron Ramsey's predicted £12m move to Burnley. Nixon claims the Ramsey deal is the brainchild of Villa football chief Monchi, and the same terms will apply to any deal for Archer.

Boro, where Archer had a successful loan stint last season, are understood to be interested in his services. He netted 11 times and recorded six assists in 23 appearances under Michael Carrick as they reached the play-offs.
Nixon adds that Sheffield United could also turn to Archer as a back-up option to preferred target Chuba Akpom, Boro's top scorer last season.
Villa boss Emery said of Archer: "He played very well last year at Middlesbrough. He scored goals and his level increased. We are with Ollie Watkins, Jhon Duran and him in the squad.
"With Cameron Archer we were playing him in pre-season and we were thinking it could be a possibility to let him go and play and continue improving his level at another club.
"He is our player and we want to keep him under our control always because we believe in him. Sometimes the plan is to try to help him continuing taking time and minutes and confidence at another club."
